Mirrorday privacy policy

Last updated: September 27, 2026 · Limed Consulting LLC

Mirrorday is a private reflection journal. We built it so your journal never leaves your iPhone. There is no account, no sign-in, no cloud copy, and no analytics or advertising SDK.

Your journal stays on your device

Everything you write in Mirrorday stays on your iPhone: entries, moods, tags, reflections, patterns and Weekly Reads. It is stored in the app's local storage and is never uploaded to us or to anyone else.

Reflections are written on your iPhone. On devices with Apple Intelligence, Mirrorday uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models. On other devices it uses a simple reader built into the app. Neither sends your text over the network, and we have no AI server.

If you turn on the daily reminder, it is a local notification scheduled on your iPhone. No push server is involved.

Third parties

Mirrorday does not use Microsoft Clarity, session replay, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and it does not share data with data brokers.

Permissions

Retention and deletion

Your journal stays on your iPhone until you delete it. In Settings → Your data you can export your journal as text or delete every entry. Deleting the app also removes all of its data from your iPhone. We cannot recover journal data because we never have a copy.

RevenueCat keeps purchase records for as long as needed to provide your subscription and meet legal obligations. Support chat conversations are kept in Crisp so we can follow up. Email us to have them deleted.

Children

Mirrorday is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Not a medical service

Mirrorday is a self-reflection tool. It is not therapy, diagnosis or medical advice. If you are in crisis, call your local emergency number or find a helpline at findahelpline.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
